Research

Evidence That Drives Change

You can't fix what you can't measure. Our research team conducts rigorous, independent studies that expose the root causes of health disparities and identify what interventions actually work.

We don't keep our findings in journals. We translate research into policy briefs, public reports, and advocacy strategies that move decision-makers to act.

Our Research Focus Areas:

  • Health disparities across race, income, and geography

  • Effectiveness of community-based preventive health interventions

  • Healthcare financing and access policy

  • Social determinants of health

Policy Advocacy

From Evidence to Action

Research and programs can only go so far. Lasting health equity requires systems change — and that means policy. We advocate at the local, state, and national level for the funding, legislation, and structural reforms that make equitable healthcare possible for every American.

We work with lawmakers, coalitions, and community advocates to build the political will for change — and we don't stop pushing until that change is real.

Our Advocacy Priorities:

  • Equitable and sustainable healthcare financing

  • Expansion of preventive services coverage

  • Strengthening public health infrastructure in underserved communities

  • Reducing structural barriers to healthcare access

Community Programs

Meeting People Where They Are

The most effective healthcare reaches people in their own communities. That's why we partner with local organizations, health workers, and community leaders to bring preventive services, health education, and resources directly to the people who need them most.

Our community programs focus on prevention — because catching illness early, or stopping it before it starts, is better for individuals and for the health system as a whole.

What Our Programs Include:

  • Free and low-cost preventive screenings

  • Community health education workshops

  • Navigation support to connect people with available services

  • Training and capacity-building for local health workers

  • Partnerships with clinics, schools, and faith-based organizations

Current Initiatives

Active programs we are engaged in that are driving immediate impact in our communities.

Disburden: Preventing Gender-Based Violence Before It Starts

We consider gender-based violence to be a preventable public health concern, rather than merely a response to a crisis.

Disburden offers a secure, confidential environment where individuals can seek assistance, reflect on damaging behaviors, and access resources before harm takes place. The platform emphasizes early intervention, encouraging accountability and healthier coping mechanisms to foster safer relationships and more resilient communities.

Measles Prevention & Awareness Campaign

We aim to address the reemergence of measles in the U.S. through targeted community vaccination drives and rapid response initiatives.

We are collaborating with partners with local schools and clinics especially in border states to combat v.accine hesitancy through evidence-based educational outreaches

A statewide initiative to hear directly from residents about their health access experiences.

The Goal is to understand the real health challenges communities face through engaging residents, local leaders, and health workers in identifying structural barrier.

We will publish a 'Community Health Voices Report' and use findings for comprehensive policy advocacy.
